Who We Are

Who We Are

Callender Law prides itself on representing clients as if they were friends and family. Lorenzo Callender has taken his years of experience in defending corporations and insurance companies, to now represent applicants and plaintiffs who might not have the same huge pockets corporations do.

When you are represented by Callender Law, we know that you are the boss! We can evaluate complex workers’ compensation, employment and personal injury cases and break them down in language we all can understand. We don’t speak legalese! We will recommend the best course of action for your case and work with you to develop a plan that is in your best interest.

Lorenzo has been on the other side, he’s represented the insurance companies, he’s represented the corporations, he knows the game and wants to use that knowledge to your advantage!

Lorenzo Callender

A REAL ATTORNEY, REPRESENTING REAL PEOPLE, IN REAL CASES

Lorenzo Callender is originally from the Republic of Panama. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, Lorenzo moved to Los Angeles and pursued a career in acting. While pursuing his acting career, Lorenzo was trained to become an expert in harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. He also conducted workplace investigations, facilitated harassment/discrimination workshops, trained managers on how to effectively communicate with their employees and conducted one-on-one training with “problem” employees, managers and CEOs.

Eventually, Lorenzo found his way into Southwestern Law School. At Southwestern, Lorenzo was actively involved in the Latino Law Student Association, Student Bar Association and started the Employment and Labor Law Student Association.

Once out of law school, Lorenzo worked for one of the largest law firms in California and developed many of the skills he now uses in his own firm. Lorenzo considers himself a normal everyday guy who just happened to go to law school. He was fortunate enough to be trained at one of the most elite law firms in Los Angeles. He now wants to bring this knowledge and training to help others.
